Quotation marks. Follow US style for punctuation around quotation marks:
- Periods and commas go inside quotations, always.
- Colons and semicolons go on the outside, always.
- Question marks and exclamations go inside only if they’re part of the quote.
Titles of books and articles. Book titles should be italicized:

When referencing an article by title, use quotation marks:
“Development and Underdevelopment in Postwar Europe”
