Irwin Collier is Professor of Economics at the Freie Universität Berlin where he is a member of the Faculty of Business and Economics and leads the economics section of the John-F.-Kennedy Institute for North American Studies. He is a member of the History of Economics commission of the German Economics Association of the German Verein fur Socialpolitik. Besides the history of economics, his research interests include the theory of economic measurement and the comparative analysis of economic systems. Currently he serves as a member of the International Advisory Board of the Kyiv School of Economics, Ukraine.
