The workshops on the second day of the conference, 10 February, are co-organized by the Institute for New Economic Thinking’s Young Scholars Initiative (YSI). It is an international community comprised of students, young professionals, and researchers, who embrace new and critical ways of thinking about the economy. Several YSI working groups will hold parallel meetings, in which young scholars from across the globe will present and discuss their research.
TRACK 1: The YSI Innovation and Complexity Economics Working Groups will study bubbles in finance, science and society.
TRACK 2: The YSI Philosophy of Economics Working Group will discuss the role of expertise in post-truth society.
TRACK 3: The YSI Financial Stability Working Group will examine the relationship between credit cycles and financial bubbles.
The conference and workshops are open to anyone interested.
