INET Welcomes Sarah Abell as its Newest Governing Board Member


New INET Governing Board Member Announcement

Sarah Abell, the founder of the UK-based Oxford Youth Lab, Westside School, and of the Association of Alternate Educational Provision has recently been appointed to INET’s Governing Board. INET’s leadership welcomes her to the Board and is confident that her transition from INET’s Global Partners Council will contribute new energy and new ideas to INET’s operations.

Sarah previously sat on the Canadian Advisory Boards of the MaRS Solution Lab, and currently sits on the Ivey Sustainability Centre (BSV), and the Ivey Business School. Sarah also sat on the UK Board of the Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Wellington Academy, Breakdancing GB (Chair), and continues to sit on the board of Westside Academy, London Interdisciplinary School, a new type of university, and various other philanthropic trusts and foundations between Canada and the UK. She previously worked for MGL/JP Morgan, Bain & Co, and OPUS Consulting, focused on Change Management, in Hong Kong and the UK.

Sarah earned an HBA with Honors in Economics from Ivey Business School as well as a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University.
