Richard Koo Testifies Before Congress

On July 22nd, three economists, including Richard Koo, testified before the House Committee on Financial Services. In this video, Koo speaks for about eight minutes, and then later responds to questions from the committee.

Congressman 1: "Hey, let's get some of the best economists in the world to testify before the House, so we can benefit from their expert opinions."

Congressman 2: "Sounds good, but let's talk the entire time and not let the economists answer any questions."

Congressman 1: "Okay, let's do it."
