Fred Block: Government as the Solution, not the Problem

Fred Block thinks that government investment in innovation is essential: in fact, even during the era of Ronald Reagan, the US government played a key role in developing new technologies and the Internet. Continued innovation requires not that the government move out of the way of the private sector but that the government further interact with it.
