The Institute for New Economic Thinking is conducting a series of speaking engagements at select colleges and universities to engage with students and their professors in the larger conversation surrounding economic theory and practice. Discussions look specifically at economics in academia, addressing the challenges faced by the economics profession in the aftermath of the crisis and what it will take to change prevailing paradigms.
Executive Director Rob Johnson hosts the events with INET community members and world-class economists such as Joseph Stiglitz, George Akerlof, and Bruce Caldwell. The core objective of the Campus Outreach Program follows directly from the Institute’s mission: to create an environment that is nourished by open discourse and empower the next generation with the necessary support to advance the culture of change.
Please see our calendar for upcoming events. Check back often, as we will be posting more news, and video from completed events.
